BMW K100 RT

FOR SALE. A 1985 Beemer. Very low mileage. (I'm too short to ride it.) Look it up on Google, for 1985 BMW was way ahead of the rest of the motorcycle world with this bike, manufactured from '83 to '89. The '85 models came with the "Euro" motors because of a strike going on at that time and they ran out of the "export" motors. The "Euro" motors have 10 more H.P. And electronic ignition, electronic fuel injection, ( runs on regular gas) and many other advanced features. It's FOR SALE for $2,500.00 , same as I paid for it. It come with acessories, bike cover, tank bag, manuals, factory tool kit, and has aftermarket hard shell "Luggage", NOT the big ugly square box type. You MUST be TALL to ride this bike. Must be sold in New Hampshire.

Re: BMW K100 RT

I guess I'm supposed to stick with my old Yammy. The Beemer was a great bike but it felt very uncomfortable when stopping and I couldn't get both feet flat on the ground. I got a new front tire for the old Yammy, a Metzeler Marathon 880, boy have they gone up. The old one still has plenty of rubber left but was starting to show some cracks deep in the tread lines. Well, it's gotta be close to five years old. I wore the previous rear tire down to nothing and replaced it during Daytona bike week 2011. It's still like new, but I lost a lot of riding time last year.
